Upcycled art

 "KASA TO RASA" .

WeCan firmly believes in Reducing,Reusing and Upcycling.      Upcycling is the process of turning waste, often of the sort that is usually considered "unrecyclable", into something that is useful or of value.

Keeping waste in its current physical state and turning it into something useful makes a lot of sense. Upcycling is a companion to recycling, not a replacement for it. In a world of ever-increasing volumes of waste, it's important that we strive to turn all types of waste into resources, by whatever means available.

CONSULTANCY FOR PERMACULTURE

Our Services/Projects: Welcome

...PERMACULTURE FOR THE URBAN AND RURAL...

Permaculture is a regenerative agricultural system or a method that seeks to integrate human activity with natural surroundings so as to create highly efficient self-sustaining ecosystems. Permaculture looks at everything we do in life and tries to make it sustainable for many generations to come.  Much of this sustainability is achieved by imitating what we see in nature. These can be applied in farms as well our terrace gardens !

The aim is to create systems that are ecologically-sound and economically viable, which provide for their own needs, do not exploit or pollute, and are therefore sustainable in the long term

– Bill Mollison

perma plan.jpg

How WeCan helps ??

We design your piece of earth by applying principles and ethics of permaculture where we help read the landscape and assess a property for its full and productive potential, identify connections between desired elements (vegetable garden, herb garden, chicken coop, fruit orchard/food forest, etc.) and situate them in the most efficient layout that will have the greatest effect for the least amount of work and also help manage farm resources optimally.Once a permaculture farm is fully functioning, in principle nothing needs to be brought into the system as it supplies all of its own requirements. Food for humans, animals, soil and plants are produced by the plants and animals themselves. The sunlight and water that enters the property is captured in a way which maximises its potential, which is also used for the plot’s energy requirements.

Banner permaculture.jpg

Why permaculture??

Permaculture plots can be designed in small or large scale settings. They can very easily solve some of the mess that humanity has created for itself, such as the shortage of healthy and clean food and water, as well as the destructive imbalance our species has created on our Mother Earth and its interconnected and interdependent species.

A growing proportion of the population are awakening to the challenges that face our global culture. Many are preparing themselves for the fallout of an increasingly interdependent global economy that is plagued with bubbles waiting to inevitably burst. All this can appear as overwhelming and that we are powerless to do anything about it. But we can. Permaculture plots can be created for ourselves, our family and our community no matter where we live!

WHY SUSTAINABILITY ?

In the hustle bustle of city life, we have disconnected ourselves from mother nature – Its her, who provides us with all the endless human wants and needs. What the trees exhales, we inhale, and what we exhale, is what trees inhale. They are very much a part of us. We, humans And mother earth have a deep rooted connection, like that of a child and mother. Unfortunately, most of us have forgotten it.
Now its time… that we stop hurting mother nature and give back as much as we can.
